Get ready for 20th National Conference on Family Literacy!

The 2011 National Conference on Family Literacy is only days away — are you ready? Here are a couple of tips to make sure you make the most of your conference experience.

  1. Visit the 2011 National Conference on Family Literacy Download Center at NCFLConference.org. Here you can peruse the schedule of concurrent sessions and even download many of the presentations in advance. (You will need a login and password to download materials, which was sent last week to the e-mail address you used to register.)
  2. Attend the Conference Orientation Session at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 4. Whether it’s your first conference or your 20th, you can get the inside scoop from NCFL’s Donna Elder. Learn strategies for selecting sessions and coordinating with your colleagues to maximize your conference experience.
  3. Don’t miss the NCFL/Wonderopolis® Booth in the Exhibit Hall. Learn how you can use Wonderopolis within your program, explore a variety of free NCFL resources and get to know NCFL employees. You can also take advantage of the Cyber Cafe to check your e-mail or print a boarding pass. And don’t forget to share your thoughts on family literacy or tell us what you’re wondering about in the NCFL/Wonderopolis Video Booth!
